Welcome and thank you for stopping by.
God created beauty and my camera & I are witnesses of it!
My Mission is to connect God’s diverse creation with people through photographic art as well as people in disadvantage circumstances.
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, I became amazed of your love.”
I always have been interested in photography. My first camera was an Olympus Tough, a compact that I used for underwater and travel. In 2016, my wife gave me a birthday present that opened my eyes: a photographic workshop called “How To Take Better Photos”. That day I realised that photography is not just a hobby or something to do on holidays. It became a real passion and I becoming thirsty for learning more and more.
In my travels I have discovered the amazing power of God in every part of our planet, in His diverse creation, in His people and how He respects and understand other cultures. My photographic passion is for high-quality images of God’s creation: in Landscapes, People, and Travel.
I haven’t fought any wars, nor have I swam across the ocean, but I have travelled to many places, and I’ve made it my life’s goal to be as creative as possible towards everything I endeavour.
If I ever landed on a deserted island, I would definitely go insane without photography, film, music, my family and friends. Storytelling, creative innovation, make my heart go thump. Sharing all this online with the world, with as much of my experience as I can muster, makes my soul sing.
For me, the creative aspect of artistic photography is mostly about emotion. Images need to be more than just a graphical representation of an object or place. A well crafted photograph needs to tell a story, stimulate the emotions, create intrigue or elicit some reaction. I think of photography as an enjoyable, self indulgent pastime and therapy. It helps me live life.
Although my main focus is landscapes, I’m interested in almost all genres of photography. Consequently I’m always exploring new avenues of creativity. Above all, I do have a preference for moody landscape images and you will find many examples of this throughout my gallery. Like many photographers, I enjoy travel and consider both pursuits as being the perfect synergy. Together, they form a very satisfying and addictive obsession.
